Title: Rattray Marsh
Post by: rcflier on April 25, 2012, 07:43:51 AM
Spent about 3 hours poking around the trails thru the marsh yesterday.  Was hoping to hear or see the Pileated woodpeckers. No luck on any type of woodpecker.

2 Mute Swan nests in the marshy area
many tree swallows flying over the waters in the marsh (pics are blurry but can see the pretty blue)
Cardinals - 3 male, 2 female
Chickadees - 2
White-breasted nuthatch - 1
RWB - many males and females
song sparrows  - several
