Title: Great Egret-ashbridges bay
Post by: birddog on April 25, 2012, 09:24:06 AM
I noticed a Great Egret this morning at the foot of Woodbine Av, south of the Lakeshore. Also seen earlier this week at the same spot was a northern shoveler,  buffleheads, mallards and DC Cormornats.

he's there every year. look carefully and you might find an BCNH hiding in the trees.

sadly, the egret was driven away last year. people have started to fish in that pond (no idea why. it stinks)
