Title: Lake Aquitaine - Sat. April 28th
Post by: Bird Brain on April 28, 2012, 04:33:48 PM
Hi everyone.  I was walking around Lake Aquitaine this morning from 7:30-9:30am and sighted the following:

Canada Geese
Chickadees
Grackles x 12
House Sparrows - lots
Mallards including one very large, round female (pregnant?) with male by her side
Mourning Doves

Red-winged Blackbirds x 100+ ... a great mix of adult males and females plus imm. males and females.  All you can hear around the lake are the RWBB's trilling up a storm!

Ring-billed Gulls
Robins
Song Sparrows x 2
Starlings

Lake Aquitaine:  SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave., behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.
