A friend, visiting from Michigan, and I birded the 10th Road East between Green Mountain and Ridge Road for the first time early this morning and it was well worth it. Highlights include one Upland Sandpiper, numerous Wilson's Snipe, Wild Turkeys, Spotted Sandpipers, Eastern Bluebirds, Eastern Meadowlarks and Vesper, Swamp, Field, Savannah and Song Sparrows.
