I went birding in Sam Smith Park this afternoon. It was very quiet for birds, but there lots of butterflies. There were hundreds of Red Admirals and good numbers of Eastern Commas as well. I saw several clusters of (Cabbage?) Whites, and some small dark skippers that I couldn't identify.
