Why is the board clock always wrong ??

Have you gone into your "Profile" and changed the time zone?  Or rather, not changed the time zone?

Have tried and the closest I get is 8 hrs behind.

Perhaps ( no not perhaps but ndeed) I need help in changing the clock.

The GMT is cinfusing - to me - I tried 5 hours and I tried  and it didn't change.

GMT minus five hours.  Then make sure you go down to the bottom and click "Submit".
