Beautiful Mr. Sharp. I was there this morning but did not find this beauty.
Thank you for posting
-
like the 3rd one very much...well done...you are having a fine time with these lovely birds and i'm glad for you!

Gorgeous captures.

thanks, everyone.
this is my 2nd year looking for warblers, and its been good to me. the goal is to see a Blackburnian. its the most beautiful of all migrating birds, in my opinion. there are worse things to be doing at 8:30 AM than watching a Blackburnian eat and call.
Also, a hello and thanks to Steve and Ryan, the two photographers who were also shooting the warbler and who had excellent birding etiquette. massive equipment makes one think they'll be stereotypical photographers, but they were more cordial than most birders. a pleasure meeting you two

These are beautiful Richard! Even though they may not be especially rare, I always get excited when I see one - they're just so gorgeous. Today I was feeling grumpy because I had no time for birding. Then I stepped into my backyard, and there was a Blackburnian singing in my neighbour's tree, about 15 feet away! Exactly what I needed to lift my spirits.

maybe i'll spray paint the house sparrows so they look like blackburnian warblers? :)
-
Excellent shots Richard and it was really nice meeting you out there today.

Beautiful pics! We saw our first one last Spring at Pelee and that was Rob's goal Warbler, so we were both quite excited. Now his goal is to get some nice shots like these. Enjoy the Warblers :D !
-
Very nice shots Richard! Also my favourite little birdie as well.

Nice shots Richard....wish I could finally find one........ you get the trap and I will donate my sparrows from my yard...Do you think we could paint one as a scarlet tanager as I need to find this one as well
