Hi everyone.  My mom was visiting today so we started out at Lake Wabukayne (NE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Windwood Dr., behind condo and school) from 11am - 12:30pm.  Sighted the following:

Blue Jays
Canada Goose x 1
Cardinals
Crows
Grackles
House Sparrows
Mallards
Red-winged Blackbirds
Robins

Butterflies:  Cabbage White x 3, Red Admiral x 15 and 2 "mystery" butterflies (separate thread for this in Toronto Wildlife).

In the afternoon from 2:15-3:45pm, we walked at Maplewood Park (East side of Glen Erin Dr., just North of Aquitaine Ave.) and sighted the following:

Blue Jays x 5
Cardinal x 1 (male)
Chickadees

Cooper's Hawk x 1 - female sitting in nest then she got up, stretched and spent quite awhile preening before settling down in the nest again.

Grackles
House Sparrows
Red-winged Blackbirds
Robins - including a female sitting on a nest

Butterflies:  Cabbage White x 5, Mourning Cloak x 2, Red Admirals x 10
