A late afternoon walk in the Hendrie Valley, starting and finishing at the Valley Inn Road, produced a few 'first of year' birds; Lincoln's Sparrow, a House Wren at it's nest and Baltimore Orioles building a nest. One Green Heron was observed at the water's edge and two, separately, in flight so there was a minimum of one and a maximum of three Green Herons in the area.

Oops. I shouldn't have assumed that everyone would know that the Hendrie Valley is in Burlington.
