Title: Vernal friends of my heart
Post by: jackbreakfast on May 08, 2012, 10:13:43 PM
Hello folks! A few Springtime birds! Cropped often and sometimes bad, but I like them because they make me feel cozy!
a most forthcoming yellow warbler

a heavily cropped but not horrible palm warbler

a chestnut-sided warbler, among the verdant tangles

a loathsome song sparrow who refused to sing even though i begged and promised

a high-up and seriously backlit n. parula who i love in spite of the aforementioned problems

a heavily-cropped but still impossible-to-hate brown thrasher

Love the pics...., as long as you are happy with them, that all that matters. Sometimes the toughest judge of our talents is ourselves, keep up the great work!
I still don't have a photo of a brown thrasher, great shot, I 'd take that any day.

So nice of you to say, Gary. Thanks for writing! Bird photography, so far as I'm concerned, is frustrating and rewarding all at once. The pictures aren't so important but if I didn't have the camera I wouldn't take the 6 hrs walks, and then where would I be?
