very slow at Humber bay except for this little girl

When did you see her? I photographed her at Colonel Sam at 3:40 PM for 20 minutes or so before she took off east. Nice! :)

Thanks Gary...but to be truthful..I didn't actually find it myself. My wife is learning to use my old camera and she wanted to shoot some ducks so we stopped off at Humber bay and walk around a bit, we went right past the spot where it was and on the way back, a man who was standing by the pond's edge came up to me, probably saw my camera, and asked if I knew what that bird was...well a knew right away it was a Phalarope but not sure exactly what sub- species. Quickly I started taking pictures and called my wife to get over and see it....she was not that impress and after a few shots ..went back to her ducks
The Phalarope was a very small thing, much smaller than a Killdeer and next to the geese seemed tiny..hope she resurfaces to other to enjoy
