Title: Opossum in Norval
Post by: Brian Bailey on May 21, 2012, 10:18:26 PM
I saw a roadkill Opossum on Hwy 7, just west of Norval today.  That's the furthest north I've ever seen one.

They've been there for decades. And they're much further north - I think they're up in Owen Sound. I've been finding them along the side of the road in our area (West Grey) for years...not sure if they're dead or playing dead...

Unfortunately saw a splatted one this morning south of Cambridge on our way to a field trip with the Eastern Bluebird Society.

I do prefer the live one under my nyjer feeder.
