Went to see the Prairie warbler reported on OFO this morning, north of Hamilton. After a short search on the hydro tract off Concession Rd 6W, 10km west of hwy 6 we heard then spotted this magnificent warbler. Likes to perch high in very visible spots. Terry

Shot this 20 sec video with a 500mm lens..... a little bumpy but you can hear the Prairie singing.
I hope I've posted this correctly!

So I gave in and went looking for this chap on Saturday and betwen rainshowers he put on a bit of a show. He came down within 4-5 feet of where I was standing and posed for close to a minue at eye level. What a glorious little bird!
Again thanks for posting the pics and video. Such a great, distinctive song. Can't mistake it for anything else.
I'm glad I gave in and went for a look.
Cheers and Happy Birding!
