Title: German Mills, red admirals, buckeye, etc.

I actually went looking for a monarch chrysalis from a large milkweed caterpillar I saw last week. No luck finding it but there are lots of fresh red admirals everywhere and I saw my first buckeye ever in German Mills. There were also lots of skippers and cabbage whites and a couple of tiger swallowtails but NO monarchs, even though the milkweed is now in full bloom.
