Title: Maplewood Park - Sat. June 23rd
Post by: Bird Brain on June 23, 2012, 01:25:25 PM
Hi everyone.  I was walking around at Maplewood Park today between about 11am - 12 noon.  Sighted the following:

Blue Jays x 2
Cardinals x 2 (males)
Chickadees x 3
Grackles x 2
House Sparrows x 2
Robins x 2

Could hear a Nuthatch but not seen.

Butterflies - Cabbage White x 16 and Eastern Tiger Swallowtail x 1.

Some sort of mystery dragonfly - large, appeared to be solid black with bright orange at back of head.

Maplewood Park:  East side of Glen Erin Dr., just North of Aquitaine Ave.
