Title: 6 Great Egrets, dozens of Common Terns mouth of Humber

Dusk on the pedestrian bridge over the mouth of the Humber is pretty interesting these days. Lately there are dozens of Common Terns actively feeding there - you get a great view from the bridge of them diving for their dinner. You'll also find numerous Barn Swallows (you can see many of their nests under the bridge if you take the path that leads under it).

A surprising find last night was 6 Great Egrets on the breakwater just east of the mouth of the river. They were spread out along the breakwater about 100-200m apart. I've been seeing 1 or 2 pretty regularly but 6 was a surprising count.
