My 8 year old son and I are trying to see all 8 species of turtles in Ontario. We already have seen Snapping, Painted and Map Turtles. If anyone has a specific location they have recently seen any of the other 5 species, I would greatly appreciate it!

The rest of the species are mostly rare and endangered, so you're not going to have too much luck with specific locations. Try researching the habitat and distribution and most should be findable.

Yes please do not post the locations of rare Ontario turtles online. They DO get poached, it is a real problem and revealing the location of any rare reptile or amphibian puts the population at further risk. The above post is good advice. Unfortunately I have heard firsthand of a Wood Turtle population which was part of a study group being poached and shipped to Asia after their location was revealed online :(.
