I rented a cottage with my family, in Magnetewan (a very small town 30 min north of Burks Falls, 3.5 hrs north of T.O)
The birding was great!
On and close to the cottage I saw 47 species in 5 days.
6 species of warbler (Tennessee, Chestnut-sided, Yellowthroat, Magnolia, Nashville, Black-and White.)
4 species of sparrow ( including Swamp Sparrow)
2 species of flycatcher (including Least Flycatcher)
4 species of woodpecker (including Yellow-bellied Sapsucker)
7 GBH
2 Sandhill Cranes (in a farmer's field)
4 Red-eyed Vireos
1 Sharp-shinned hawk and 1 Broad-winged Hawk
1 Ruffed Grouse
1 Hermit Thrush
1 Common Tern
1 Rose-breasted Grosbeak
1 Brown Creeper
1 Common Raven
