Title: 1 hour at Humber Bay Park

Saw 23 species.
Some highlights were:
Great Egret, Great Blue Heron, Greater Scaup, Common Tern, Willow Flycatcher, Least Sandpiper, Killdeer and Eastern Kingbird.

You forgot to mention the red ants lol.

You must have had a lucky day,... I have yet to even hear about an Egret at Humber Bay except from your post.

Now this I have heard about this year. More reports of fire ants than anything else there.

Those ants are trouble, no doubt about it. You do not want to stand still for long.

Someone posted on ebird a sighting of a Black-billed Cuckoo at Humber Bay East on Aug 5. Didn't say where but it's worth looking out for it in the wooded areas.
