Title: RFI - mystery sparrow

We found this sparrow on Monday up on the Carden Alvar, and I can't quite get a positive ID.

It looks too yellowish to be a Savannah or Vesper. Le Conte's is close, but I'm not sure.

I'm not sure why you think this is too yellow to be a Savannah sparrow.  That yellow splotch on the lores is quite indicative.
