Title: Birding lake Temagami
Post by: American Redstart on August 08, 2012, 02:37:24 PM
Saw 32 species including a bald eagle, nashville warbler, broad-winged hawk, osprey and a sharp-shinned hawk.
Right beside the "Bonjour.Quebec" sign from New Liskeard I saw a Merlin.

I was in the New Liskeard area this weekend. Didn't specifically go birding, but had nice roadside views of a northern flicker, northern harrier, American kestrel, a family of ruffed grouse, many ruby-throated hummingbirds, many ravens, and many turkey vultures.
