Title: Lambton Olive-sided Flycatchers
Post by: feathered on August 12, 2012, 05:17:26 PM
It's not every day you see one of these, much less three in the same tree! I'd only ever seen one of these up in Carden so it was nice to see them in Toronto. One gave a couple of the classic 'quick-three-beers' and another, perhaps more interestingly, still had some clear evidence of baby gape, but I've never seen them in Lambton until today. I wonder how far away they nested.

These are all pretty cropped. I tried to get all three in one shot but they were too spread out to cram into 420mm!

Congrats to a nice find and the first pictures of the species on this site as far as I know.
