After narrowly missing becoming a mid morning snack for a hungry Cooper's Hawk, this Kingfisher allowed me to take a few photos of her while she caught her breath.

Thanks Paul, You can always use mine if you want to carry it around for me :D
It doesn't bring the Kingfishers any closer, if anything they just get farther away. Yesterday was just a fluke, but I'll take any opportunity I can get.
