I finally got some almost decent photos of the Grebes at SSP.
They never seem to stray too far from the platform and I learned why when a young Hawk buzzed over a few times and then sat waiting on the railing to see if he could score an easy meal.

If you know where this railing is you can see the Hawk is staring right at the nest

Very Cool Meghan.
Unfortunately, none of my Grebe shots from yesterday are any good. How are you liking the new lens?
