Bev and I spent the last 3 days driving around Ont . And the number of Monarchs was amazing!! On Friday we drove to Parry Sound from Whitby along hiway 12 we saw at least 150+ Monarchs! Then Saturday we drove from Parry Sound to Port Hope counting 200+ Monarchs!!
But the best was on our drive from Port Hope to Whitby along the lake shour rood (which levees Port Hope and runs to Newcastle) we counted 76 monarchs But one had no Wight marks on the upper wing!! Making it look all black and orange!
Great butterfly weekend...
