Title: Pileated family, Balm Beach
Post by: Napper on September 02, 2012, 06:34:16 PM
We left the beach this morning around 8:30 am headed for Sudbury along the way
a  Broad winged Hawk flew across the road directly in front of us near
Shawanga. A little while later a Great blue Heron did the same.

Back at the beach around 5:30 pm three Pileated Woodpeckers flew over
our place and inhabited the trees acrosed the street for about 10 minutes.

It's 6:30 and I can still  hear them down the street a ways.
