During our HawkWatch today at Rosetta McClain Gardens in Scarborough a conservative guess of 20,000 Blue Jays flew over us heading westward. They were going by in small to large flocks all day long. Blue Jays migration started about a week ago but really ramped-up today.
Other sightings included 27 Common Loons, 1 Common Nighthawk and a few late Chimney Swifts.
