Title: Red necked grebe
Post by: Margaret on July 15, 2007, 09:14:29 PM
Took a trip to Bronte Harbour (west of Oakville) today.
No young ones yet. I was lucky to be able to watch the pair of grebes exchange nesting positions and could see 3 eggs in the nest.
The nest is built on a tire in the lagoon just past the Marina Restaurant.
