Today I went out to Pringle Creek in Whitby and was pleasantly surprised to see an American Golden Plover amongst the Killdeer. It was on the west side of the creek closer to the yachts, at the farthest dry points away from the road. You can go west along Front St. and park in the parking lot and see it very close from there.
Pringle Creek in Whitby is close to the intersection of Victoria St and Brock St. Go south on Victoria until you see the Windsor Bay Park and creek on both sides, turn right onto Front street and right before the entrance to the yacht club there will be a parking lot.
Good Birding!
