I spotted an Osprey, a Great Egret and two Tundra Swans in the marsh that borders Scarborough-Pickering Town line Rd.. There were also some shore birds but I could not get a good look at them, but I heard Kildeer for sure. This road is the very north -east part of Scarborough, where Scarborough, Pickering and Markham meet, South of Steeles and east of Meadowvale. the Marsh is a protected area and viewing must be done from the road. As well in the area were several Red Tails, and a Northern harrier. I also spotted a Great Egret in West Rouge marsh at the very east end of Lawrence Av. .
