I am not sure what type of sandpiper this is, I would appreciate some assistance. I have named it a spotted sandpiper, but would like a confirmation.

It looks like a (spotless) Spotted Sandpiper to me.

I agree with Brian. The white that goes into the shoulders does it for me.
