Title: Juncos
Post by: JimmyM on October 14, 2012, 11:33:58 PM
Spotted many juncos in the Rama Orillia area last weekend and then a few in my backyard in Clarkson . Many nuthatches, chicadees, cardinals, blue jays  also. Cooper also hunts regularly in my backyard and finds easy pickings with the quickly reducing dove population.

My first juncos finally showed up today but I'm still waiting for my white throated and white crowned sparrows (a pair stopped by briefly a couple of weeks ago but that was it). All the other regulars are still around - house sparrows, chickadees, a pair of cardinals, a pair of mourning doves, a few robins and one redbreasted nutcase(!). Ok, so it's a nuthatch but what a hyper bird! almost as much fun to watch as were my hummingbirds! :)
