Title: Blackbirds,Starlings,Robins,Bluebirds Moving
Post by: BIGFRANK on October 18, 2012, 05:53:49 PM
So noone is surprised when it starts getting reported by others...thousands of blackbirds are on the move in the early mornings. Robins are migrating as usual in large numbers daily now. We saw our first Eastern Bluebirds on Tuesday, migrate past Rosetta McClain Gardens(some will stop off). Today a larger than normal number of Starlings went by. We saw Common Loons, RB Mergansers and a few Long-tailed Ducks down on the lake last Friday as well. Please take note that these birds move in much larger numbers on the same north element winds that bring raptors. Dont expect alot on these nice south wind days.

Seen Bluebirds twice in my area over the last couple weeks.  I was thrilled!
