Flock of Evening Grosbeaks at our feeder in Chatham. First time in the 6 years we have been here. Effect of Sandy?

Very nice! Unrelated to Sandy, but they are on the move now because of lack of food up north this year.

That makes sense. Also just arrived are the migratory blue jays we get each year, and the winter resisdent nut hatches.
