As I write this we have our first in many, many years (probably approaching 20 years) Evening Grosbeak at our feeder. A single female, hoping she will invite her friends over for a feed. Very exciting!!

Where there is one there is usually more, hopefully they continue to come.
We recently moved and this is my first year winter feeding at this house and for the last 2 weeks the Evening Grosbeaks have come in numbers everyday. Anywhere between 6 and 15 birds of different colouration have showed up. They're fun to watch.

How cool is that!!
RKD Send_em our way please.
I saw Evening Grosbeaks this summer way up there West of Thunder Bay during our Bi-annual trip.
I've never seen one down here. After 6 months I finally put some seed in the feeders.
Napper :D
