Title: Humber Bay Park West/Humber Bay Promenade Park
Post by: thouc on November 27, 2012, 07:32:08 PM
There was a huge raft of ducks present between Humber Bay Park West and Humber Bay Promenade Park (could be viewed from either side). It was mainly consisting of Greater Scaup, with many Redheads and a few Am. Wigeons. I wasn't able to find the Surf Scoter reported earlier. There were also Buffleheads, Long-tailed Ducks, Red-breasted Mergansers, Common Goldeneyes, Gadwalls and lots of Mute Swans in the area.

There are still Black-crowned Night Herons roosting near the pedestrian bridge between Humber Bay Park East and West. I spotted 1 ad. and 7 juv. today.
