One of the sure signs winter is on it's way.
Snowy Owls are beginning to be reported around Bracebridge and north of the Barrie area. Also just across the pond in the NY State area
Probably not the numbers as last year but they are always amazing to see.
So do a double take on that "white bucket" or "plastic bag" out in the field. :D

Theyve been at Presqu'ile for some time. I believe there have been as many as 4 there.

There were 2 females on gull island at ppp last weekend. :)
