Title: Toad - Bancroft
Post by: farmer on December 16, 2012, 07:02:42 PM
I photographed this toad in Bancroft in November. It was cold out, so it was rather slow. Not sure what kind this is, I haven't seen one like this before. It was fairly large.

Very cool shot. I like the perspective. Looks like you got your belly dirty to take this picture.

Thanks! It looks kind of prehistoric or something.

The only toad in the area is American Toad.

Thanks for the info. It must be the same then as what we have in Leamington area. It just looked browner & larger, perhaps because it was wet & slimy.
