Title: Big Buck roaming in Scarborough
Post by: cosmo3667 on January 12, 2013, 09:26:37 AM
Located this big fella on the Doris McCarthy Trail, Several deer frequent the area, lots of birds, Barred Owl, Pileated Woodpecker, cardinals Chichadees, all seen on my walks through the area. A creek flows down the middle of the ravine with lots of cascades and mini waterfalls as it makes it way to the Lake. Turn south onto Ravine Drive off of Kingston Road (Between Markham and McCowan Rd) Park located about 50 yards in street parking at entrance. Watch your footing esp if you go and trail snow covered lots of loose rocks and holes etc
