On a visit to Arkendo Park in Mississauga this week, I watched the male red breasted mergansers displaying repeatedly. Frankly, the females seemed totally disinterested.

Since the ducks were pretty far out, the photos are nothing to rave about, but for those who aren't sure what the display looks like, they capture some of the humour of it.
