Title: Waxwings (cedar)
Post by: Napper on January 28, 2013, 02:25:45 PM
Yesterday there were 20 plus cedar waxwings in a tree a couple of doors down.
They seemed to be taking turns feeding from a certain tree which I have yet
to determine the type.

Saturday we came upon a Coopers hawk feeding on a Kill perched on a branch overhanging
a street around the corner from our house.

We have maybe 7 Goldfinches at the feeder Chickadees and House finches.
I hear both species of Nuthatches but they don't seem to be visiting our feeder.

Many geese flying overhead at all hours, it drives our dog ballistic.
