Greetings!
There is a pair of Pied-Billed and Hooded Mergansers at the park - they go into the Western part to feed - north of parking lot and west of the bridge. The park is at Lakeshore and Parklawn - just south of there.

Beautiful captures! Excellent job.

Nice, I'll try to swing by tomorrow and check out the bay.

I saw these same two fellows on Thursday! Good to know my educated guess of 'pied-billed grebe' was correct!

Swung by briefly today but was a bit late and my photos didn't come out that well due to lack of light. However I did see the PB Grebe and also noticed the Black-Backed Gull (lesser). Didn't see the Hooded Mergs though. Saw Scaups (likely lesser), Buffleheads, Redheads, Long-Tails and RB Mergs. Looks like an interesting bay, definitely deserves at least half a day exploration.
