Title: Wild Turkey

These "little" birds were lounging in my backyard for a couple of hours this morning....  8)

There were 17 of them.....for size reference the fence posts are 4 feet tall.....  :shock:

That's cool.  I'm assuming this was in Halton Hills.  Wouldn't mind swinging by and snapping some pics...do you know where they are likely headed?

This was the first time they have come to my yard in 7 years.

I would imagine it was the big snow last week that brought them out looking for food.

I've seen them in the distant forest before.....but that is all private land.....  :wink:
