As usual there a bunch of Trumpeter and Mute swans at Lasalle Park.
There were also some Goldeneye, Red-headed ducks, Mallards, Cootes, Scaup and Mergansers.

Went to see the Wood duck this afternoon. He is a beautiful specimen. Tnx for the "hot tip". Also saw the Eastern Screech Owl there - my FOL for this type- they are so cute!! I Also many many Coots, what cute little guys. And of course, the 200 some odd Trumpeters, what a display! It was a good afternoon!

Awesome picture of an amazing looking bird. Thanks for sharing. I've been trying to get a picture of the Wood Duck but they're quite far away from where I am...would involve some driving.

Try high park in spring usually a number pairs there

In April, you can find wood ducks in pretty much any wooded pond in Southern Ontario
