Nice collection of shots...sometimes we spend too much time chasing around after the unusual birds and forget all about the great ones at hand

While that maybe, I would much prefer the owls and the hawks at this time of the year.

But apart from one messed sequence of a RTH in flight, I have had nothing that exciting. :(

LOL. Compared to some of you guys this is nothing.

When people say it is not the camera and/or lens - don't listen to them. It is, in my case. :)

I think you're being overly modest. The landing trumpeter and bufflehead landing series are honestly some of my favorite bird pictures I've ever seen, and I love the mallard and preening mute too. I'd be overjoyed if I could get almost any one of these pictures.
