Quite a huge flock. Lucky you.

What time of day was this and what part of Ontario? What else did you notice about their behaviour? Did they perch for a while or did they move from tree to tree? These and the Cedar Waxwings are birds I've been trying to track down for a while but they're difficult birds to predict, but I am trying to understand them better. Thank you.

These were taken in Pickering on Feb 23/13 at around noon, they landed in the tree just outside my back fence, and was there for about 20 minutes, before the flew away, it was the first time i had seen the Bohemian Waxwings around here, we have had the Cedar Waxwings come to the Crab-apple tree on our front lawn many times during the winter months.

To this day, still have never sighted any Bohemian Waxwing, only (lots of) Cedar Waxwing.
