A lifer for me, found a snowy Owl north of Leamington Sunday Feb. 23 sitting in a soya bean field.

He even 'smiled" for the photo!

Nice find...I remember you have mentioned that you have wanted one, there was one down by Pelee last year but I don't reckon many go down that way...without a eruption year

Thanks, i had heard report of one in Chatham, that was the closest to here. i was thrilled to get a snowy owl and redpolls (both lifers)in Leamington in the same year!

Awesome!! Congrat to you. I always thought it would be you who posted the most amount of Snowy's every year. You always hear of them in the onion fields out near Pelee.
Glad you finally managed to find one...maybe this pretty girl will turn your luck around.
