Swung by Col. Sam Smith park today to see the Western Grebe among many other reported sighting but as usual I saw nothing. I have the worst luck at Sam. Smith. So I decided head over to Humbers West and East bays where my fortune has always been better.
At Humber Bay West I found this White-Winged Scoter:

At Humber Bay East I saw American Wigeon:

Nice finds! I was there today and didn't see them. Congrats

Thanks Palo. Yeah sometimes it is just pure luck. Really happy with these finds. I'm hoping that I'll still get a chance to see the Western Grebe and the Harlequins.

Got much better lighting today when I photographed American Wigeons at Sam Smith and HB East

What great luck you're having! I especially love the Wigeon shot... nice colour and details. Cheers
