For a good part of the summer I have seen 3 ducks that look a fair bit larger than mallards, "hanging out" together in Port Credit, near the mouth of Cooksville creek...unfortunately I never seem to have a camera handy... :oops: Their heads are faded like mallard drakes after mating season...they are darker in the body (chocolate brown to blackish) and have white chests...

I'm sorry to ask without a picture...

The white chest suggests Domestic X Mallard hybrid.
