Title: Leslie Street Spit from 4 to 7pm

One Killdeer. 1 male White-winged Scoter. All 3 Mergansers. Thousands of ducks of various kinds and gulls of various kinds.
3 resident Trumpeter Swans. One Red-winged Blackbird started to sing about 5:30 out near the lighthouse. None prior to that. Then two were heard and seen, then three and the chorus of dozens of them hearalding Spring got louder and louder all the way back to the gate. Robins joined in. Overhead after 6pm, 3 different groups of Tundra Swans circling and heading back West. Long skeins of Canada Geese as well overhead. Two Redpolls.

lots of redpolls earlier that day, feeding with tree sparrows.
1 kestrel near the front entrance.
2 RTHs near the front.
the usual mockingbird close to the harbour.
a fair # of RWBB near the front of the park (meaning, around 5-10 spread out).
heard a Gadwall swimming in Wet Woods puddle literally 15 feet from the park's main path.

back half of the park, other than the insane # of gulls, was very quiet. lots of coyote poop.
